Dr. Neil Turok challenges Big Bang Theory on TVO's Agenda with Steve Paikin - Tonight
TORONTO - Dr. Neil Turok, director of Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, will be Steve Paikin's guest in an one-on-one interview on The Agenda with Steve Paikin Friday October 16 at 8 pm. The wide-ranging talk will include discussion of Endless Universe: Beyond Big Bang - Rewriting Cosmic History, a book Dr. Turok co-authored that challenges the Big Bang theory, and speculation on the future of the universe.
The discussion also serves as a prelude to an extraordinary week of discussion and debate on the big issues of science as The Agenda with Steve Paikin broadcasts live from the Perimeter Institute October 19 to 23 during the Quantum to Cosmos festival. Topics over the five nights include the future of space exploration, the future of computing, robotics and artificial intelligence, and genetics. Dr. Turok will also be a guest panellist on the final program of the week, which will debate the importance of science.
