The Canadian Aboriginal Festival & Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards
Hamilton - The 16th Annual Canadian Aboriginal Festival provides a deep and entertaining showcase of aboriginal culture over a spectacular 3-day event at Copps Coliseum and Hamilton Place. Copps Coliseum comes alive with traditional foods, unique crafts and incredible shopping at more than 200 booths, including a growing selection of traditional and holistic medicines. The centerpiece of the festival is Canada’s largest Pow Wow attracting over 1,000 dancers from every corner of North America.
Also an amateur lacrosse skills competition and much more. Festival Hours are from 9:30 am to 9 pm on Saturday, November 28 and 9:30 am to 6 pm, on Sunday, November 29. Adult tickets are $12.75 Saturday and $10.50 Sunday. Children 12 yrs and under $5.25. Family and “Full Festival” Packs available. Another big event highlight is the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards which run Friday, November 27 at 8 pm at Hamilton Place Theatre.
