Kitchener - MTE Consultants Inc. (MTE) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Kooymans as Division Manager responsible for the structural engineering team out of their Burlington office.

Mr. Kooymans brings over 23 years of experience in building design, including an expertise in structural glass design. The breadth of his experience involves retail, entertainment and institutional developments. More specifically he has led projects that include the Calgary Eaton Centre Revitalization, the Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts in Toronto, the University of Toronto’s Pharmacy Building and Chicago’s Sears Tower observation boxes (“The Ledge”).

John’s role will include managing the efforts of the structural and façade engineering team in MTE’s Burlington office. Services offered will include traditional structural engineering, façade engineering, and pure structural glass design in both the local and international market.
