SHAUGHNESSEY HOWELL EARNS 7TH GOLD MEDAL AWARD, UNPRECEDENTED IN CANADIAN TRAINING INDUSTRY

Waterloo - Waterloo-based training and consulting firm ShaughnessyHowell Inc. is one of the leading training companies in Canada, that has earned its 7th gold medal award from The Canadian Society for Training & Development (CSTD). This win is unprecedented, bringing ShaughnessyHowell’s wins to more gold medals than any other Canadian company in the past decade.

Known as CATE’s (Canadian Award for Training Excellence), this national award recognizes companies that have developed, produced and delivered original and innovative products in the training and development field.

The winning program, Value Analysis in Action, which was designed for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, is based on an engineering process that ensures that projects are completed having the greatest possible value.

“It is such a thrill to commemorate our 20th year in business with another win” says President Marion Thomson Howell. “As Learning and Development experts, we have had the advantage of marrying what we know about how employees learn with the challenges our diverse group of clients face as they execute their organizational strategies.”

CSTD is a Toronto-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to training and human resources development. It was established in 1946 and has more than 1,500 member companies on its roster.
