HAMILTON - In response to popular demand, the free Entrepreneurship 101 Lecture Series is back at McMaster University. This year’s series is even bigger with 12 sessions starting October 21 and running through early 2010.

The first lecture will be on “How to find an idea that can change the world” presented by Rafik Loutfy, director of XCEEi on Wednesday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m. Lectures run for about 1.5 to 2 hours, including time for questions.

This year’s lectures will be held at McMaster Innovation Park in the atrium of 175 Longwood Road South.

On Wednesday, November 4, Alexander Manu, senior partner and chief imaginator at InnoSpa International Partners, will speak on “Perspectives for a conversation about Innovation,” which deals with innovation in the mobile society.

A complete schedule of speakers and topics can be found at www.businessinnovation.ca/entrepreneurship101

A host of new sponsors have come aboard this year and include the Engineering & Management Program at McMaster, MaRS Discovery District, and SB Partners.

Entrepreneurship 101 is designed for entrepreneurs, inventors, graduate students, post doctoral fellows, faculty, technicians and anyone in the general public interested in creating a new venture. No prior knowledge of business or entrepreneurship is required.
