BEHR Creates Ultimate Do-it-Yourself Web Experience with Open Text Solutions

Virtual Color Center, Inspiration Gallery and Online Workbook Construct Truly Immersive Experience for Today's Digital Designers

WATERLOO - Open Text, the global leader in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), announced today that Behr Process Corporation, the largest provider of premium paints and stains to the North American Do-It-Yourself (DIY) home improvement market, has launched its newly enhanced BEHR.com supported by Vignette Content Management from Open Text.

Through this collaboration, BEHR has evolved its online presence from a static HTML site to a cinematic experience designed for homeowners and do-it-yourselfers alike. Its features include a Virtual Color Center that replicates BEHR color centers found in The Home Depot stores, an Inspiration Gallery with wide-format, magazine-quality images to spark ideas and an online Workbook where users can save and track their home projects and color choices. Visitors to BEHR.com will also find a robust How-To section with expert advice and instruction.
