E-Hanger In-Home Media Wins Silver Award for Sustainable Product of 2009

E-Hanger In-Home Media is proud to announce that, on October 22, it won a silver award at the Recycling council of Ontario's Waste Management Awards for most sustainable product of 2009.

CONCORD - The E-Hanger is manufactured from post consumer waste board and is printed with eco vegetable soya based inks. Its durability and eco-friendly properties have made the product an ideal replacement for the millions of non-recyclable wire clothes hangers that are dumped into Canadian landfills each year.

"We are honored to receive this award, it gives us great courage to continue our efforts in minimizing the problems that wire hangers present to landfills sites in Canada," said Andy Fannis , Managing Director of E-Hanger.

"Besides its environmental benefits, E-Hanger has created the largest green direct marketing platform in Canada. We offer marketers the opportunity to reach an affluent group of people, who frequently use dry cleaning services.

Our full suite of marketing services also allow businesses to deliver advertising programs such as coupons, product sampling, call-to-action messaging or branding advertising all on our eco-friendly clothing hangers, which goes directly to consumer homes.

Because it's rare that anyone refuses hangers from dry cleaners -and no one gets dressed with their eyes closed - your message is the medium and it's guaranteed that your ad will be seen by your potential customer."

The Ontario Waste Minimization Awards program is coordinated by the Recycling Council of Ontario and honours organizations involved in providing solutions to issues of consumption, waste, generation, reduction and diversion, and recycling.
