New Series Highlights Importance of Change Agents
Waterloo - On December 7, Capacity Waterloo Region will host the first in a new knowledge share called the Change Agents Series. The series highlights stories and strategies of social entrepreneurs whose ideas are making change. It's part of there Social Ventures initiative to help enable the launch and growth of social ventures by enhancing the networks and skills of social entrepreneurs and organizations with innovative ideas.
The series is made possible by IRAP and is hosted in partnership with the Accelerator Centre, Wilfrid Laurier University and Social Innovation Generation.
The first series will feature social entrepreneur George Roter, co-founder and co-CEO of the global organization Engineers Without Borders.
The event is free and runs from 5:00-6:30pm at the Accelerator Centre in the Research and Technology Park. To register click here to get your free ticket. Seating is limited and an RSVP is required.
