Cameron Carpenter is an organist whose mission is to revive not only interest in the mighty intrument but to spark a new wave of creativity and improvisation. His 2008 album, Revolutionary (on Telarc), features works of Chopin, Bach, Ellington, Dupre, Horowitz, and Carpenter. It received several Grammy nominations.
