Canada’s Technology Triangle Inc Presents International Ambassador Reception and Dinner

Waterloo Region - CTT’s International Networking and Speaker event will be held Thursday December 3, 2009, at the Waterloo Inn Conference Hotel in Waterloo, Ontario. This event will be the culmination of a day-long familiarization tour of Waterloo Region, for 15+ Consul Generals and senior staff from 11 foreign consulates based in Toronto. The event will create time for our consular guests to network with key business leaders and elected officials from Waterloo Region.

The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon, a professor at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and the University of Waterloo, and an award winning Canadian writer and researcher on climate change, challenges in the energy industry and economic transition.

The event co-hosted by Regional Chair Ken Seiling and the seven mayors of the cities and townships of Waterloo Region. The invitation list includes local MPs, MPPs, municipal Councils, the heads of the two universities and college, and CEOs and senior executives.
