The Copenhagen Treaty is about Climate Change? Maybe.

In a few short weeks, Canadian Prime Minister Harper (and other world leaders) will be pressed to sign a Treaty, the Copenhagen Treaty, that would change forever life as we know it. Some say he will not sign the treaty, or only if Obama signs it, which would only be if China signs it, which .... Be that as it may. The wrenching impact of the treaty, the fact that Canada did sign the Kyoto Treaty and the lack of discussion are very disturbing. What little discussion there is only concerns the costs of CO2 reduction or the science involved.

Since many of us will be dead before the target levels are to be achieved, there seems to be a dangerous apathy toward the words of the treaty. These words do nothing less than strip Canada (and all signatory nations) of its sovereignty. They also do not provide an escape clause, such as the one year's notice NAFTA provides. Remember the huge debate, including an election that preceded NAFTA? Why is this not happening now, when the stakes are far higher?

One major plank of any democracy is the idea that there should be no taxation without representation. Remember the Boston Tea Party of 1776 and what that led to? This is the reverse. Journalists and even politicians are not reading the treaty, which is difficult to find on the Internet, which should be a red flag in itself. The offending words are in clause 38 which calls for a UN committee, the COP, to rule "the government", our government. Other words require developed countries to send gold (money) to the UN for distribution to undeveloped nations. Naturally, all undeveloped nations will sign, which will shame unsuspecting politically-correct environmentally-concerned citizens trying to make progress on climate change into demanding Canada do the same. Given Harper's minority situation, why would he not sign? Nobody seems to have noticed clause 38 anyway. So he can emerge as a green champion and it will take years or even decades for folks to realize what he did. The COP is not stupid. This is similar to what happened when Woodrow Wilson put the frog in the pot by signing away the right of the US government to control its coinage (money) to the Federal Reserve - which is neither federal nor a reserve. Almost two depressions later, folks are still confused about what's happening.

Business has been silent, despite the heavy price. Our entire economy is driven by fossil fuel. Every gadget, motor, plane, computer, Furbie, screen, appliance and generator, except for a small portion driven by hydro and nuclear energy. CO2 is the main physical byproduct of all this (your metabolism too). The treaty calls for an eventual 80% reduction or diversion of this gas. Reducing (or sequestering) CO2 (or ANY other economic variable) by this much is, well, insane, possible only at the cost of crippling our economy and ourselves. The COP is to demand performance targets like global temperature reduction, not just of CO2 tonnes. Since earth has no place to put a thermometer, surely this is an egregious opportunity for manipulation.

By who? Pundits and media, politicians and bus passengers roll their eyes or break out laughing at the thought of conspiracies. Treaty words however are no laughing matter. They exist. The Fed exists. They were put there by someone. If you think a global 'conspiracy' is responsible you are being willfully blind to the globalist conspiracy sitting in plain view of everyone, totally transparent. The UN. Every day it discusses ('conspires') how to run the world. Just like The Jester, Darth Vader or the Lex Luthor, except less competent. From Pierre Trudeau and the Club of Rome on, their reports are mostly public, their agenda well known, pushed for generations by well meaning Rockefellers, Carnegies, Fords and their foundations. Hidden in plain view.

People that want to run the world know they must control the population. They must somehow get control of people's governments. They must strip people of their rights. The best way to do this is to keep populations in fear or turmoil and be able to immobilize reactions, political or otherwise. So they must have the power to back them up. Slowly, structures have been growing around nations. Peace Forces, International law, IMF, World Bank. If these sound benign, just ask citizens of countries touched by their actions. Slowly the fences have been built, just like enclosures of past centuries. Frog, the water is getting very warm. The top fencerail is a global system controlling the money, your money via taxes. Controls on trading, currencies, commerce also are being planned. Signing the treaty closes the gate. A mastermind of a previous generation, Mayer Amschel Rothschild said " Give me control of a nation's money, I care not who makes its laws." Another old expression says, Power corrupts, absolute (global) power corrupts absolutely.

Big Business cares not, which confounds many. Global corporations know they are the only experienced global operators around. They are happy to carry out all the tasks required on behalf of Big Brother, from policing, fighting and moving goods, money and services. For a price. It's just business. Think Haliburton, think Goldman Sachs.

Its all very well to want to solve climate change, if it exists and if it is not driven by natural forces such as the sun, but it is quite another thing to usurp democratic systems of our great country. Despite not agreeing about the cause of the problem, I would far rather accept self imposed carbon taxes and useless CO2 pipes than to give up my rights and the protection of my democratic government. Americans (and possibly Canadians) have already given up their right of habeas corpus, the most ancient fundamental right in the long struggle for democracy. With nary a whimper. To whom will we appeal our grievances? I hope you will think about that, if not for your own sake, then for your children's. Frog, do something.
