Quarry Responds to Evolving Client Needs with Enhanced Digital Media Strategy and New Vice President Appointment

Waterloo – Responding to rapid changes in the economy and client needs, Quarry Integrated Communications has developed a new, senior executive role within the organization focused on digital experience.

“We recognize that now, more than ever, clients require greater impact from their marketing investment. Overlay this fact with the proliferation and cost effectiveness of more digital channels, and shifting marketing investment to these channels is an obvious choice for many clients,” explains Quarry president Ken Whyte. “This new role is part of our strategic response to these changing client needs.”

As a result, Quarry announced today the appointment of John Gallant, a digital marketing professional with more than 18 years experience in building award-winning interactive marketing campaigns, to Vice President, Creative Director, Digital Experience. In this role, Gallant will be responsible for integrating the online and offline elements of customer experience.

Gallant has developed integrated digital marketing programs for clients such as Research In Motion, Black & Decker, ESPN and Jarden, among others. His many accolades include International Academy of the Visual Arts awards, a Davey award and a Webby. Gallant served most recently as Creative Director for Riptown Media in Toronto, and prior to that as Senior Art Director for Web Associates in San José.

Quarry provides a wide range of marketing services, including strategic communications planning and insight, advertising, web and digital media, branding, media buying, public relations, direct marketing, and sales support to clients in industries as diverse as technology, wireless communications, agribusiness, financial services and health care. Industry leaders such as RIM, BASF, FedEx, CitiFinancial and Novartis are just some of the clients for whom Quarry helps build business.

“Quarry’s 35-year longevity in a highly competitive industry can be attributed, in part, to staying aligned with our clients and anticipating their needs. With John’s appointment, Quarry will be further able to help clients integrate emerging digital media while also making the most of existing marketing channels,” concludes Whyte.
