VER Acquires HD/SD Camera Related Equipment from DALSA
Waterloo - DALSA Corporation, an international leader in high performance digital imaging and semiconductors, announced today that Video Equipment Rentals ("VER"), an international AV, audio, broadcast and computer equipment rental company, has purchased DALSA's inventory of High Definition and Standard Definition ("HD/SD") camera related equipment. The equipment sold does not include DALSA's Origin or Evolution digital cinema cameras or related "4K" equipment. The sale of the equipment follows a decision made by DALSA in 2008 to discontinue its Los Angeles based camera rental operations.
VER, which has its headquarters in Glendale California, intends to rent the HD/SD equipment through its network of offices in Canada and the United States. Parties interested in renting the camera related inventory can contact VER at 800-794-1407.
