Intrawest Names Patrice Malo as President and Chief Operating Officer at Mont Tremblant Resort

Industry Veteran to Oversee all Resort Operations at Mont Tremblant in Quebec

VANCOUVER - Intrawest, a leader in the development and management of experiential destination resorts, announced that Patrice Malo has been promoted to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Mont Tremblant in Quebec. In this position, Malo will assume responsibility for all aspects of resort operations, real estate and community relations at Tremblant and he will report directly to Bill Jensen, Chief Executive Officer at Intrawest.

Malo began his career at Tremblant in 1993 as a Financial Analysts and was soon promoted to the position of Director of Finance. In 2003, he was named Vice President of Finance and he played a key role in the planning and development of Versant Soleil, the new village development at Tremblant. In 2006, he left to pursue another career opportunity and in July 2009 he rejoined Tremblant as the Vice President of Lodging. In his most recent position at Tremblant Malo managed close to 1,000 condo-hotel units and oversaw homeowner relations.

From 2006 to 2009, Malo worked for Medical Intelligence Technologies in Montreal as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. In this role, he managed all of the financial activities of the Company's operations in Quebec and Europe and he was successful in negotiating several rounds of financing to support the operations of the Company.

Malo is a graduate of the University of Montreal, and he currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Tremblant Resort Association.
