The index for commercial computers increased 0.28% from November to 35.73 (2002=100) in December. The index for consumer computers declined 0.94% to 19.93.

In the case of computer peripherals, monitor prices decreased 0.38% from a month earlier to 51.75 and printer prices edged down 0.02% to 46.02.
