TORONTO - Laura Formusa, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hydro One Inc. announced today the appointment of Sandy Struthers to the position of Chief Financial Officer effective February 12, 2009. Mr. Struthers joined Hydro One in 2000 as a Director in the Finance area and has held a number of progressive positions in Finance, including Director, Financial Strategy and Director, Merger & Acquisitions Finance. In 2005, he was appointed to the position of Chief Information Officer where he led a number of significant advancements in the Company's IT infrastructure. Mr. Struthers holds an MBA from York University and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator. Mr. Struthers brings experience from both his roles at Hydro One and from the private sector where he was partner in a national accounting firm.
