Waterloo Region - A strike disrupting Grand River Transit service could begin as early as 12:01 a.m, Sunday, February 22, 2009.

Should a strike occur, please be aware that Waterloo Region’s five Catholic high schools will continue operating on their regular schedules and all students – including those who normally use Grand River Transit -- are expected to attend school as usual.

Students who normally rely on Grand River Transit buses for their transportation to and from school are advised to begin exploring alternative transportation options.

Students who take orange/yellow school buses to and from school will not be affected.
