GLOBE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES FINALISTS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Vancouver – The GLOBE Foundation is proud to announce this year's finalists for the GLOBE Awards for Environmental Excellence. “These are some of the most celebrated companies in the Canadian environmental business community,” said John Wiebe, President and CEO of the GLOBE Foundation. “They have shown an outstanding commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking business practices and we’re pleased to recognize them at this, the 20th anniversary of the GLOBE Series.“

Now in their 8th edition, these prestigious awards recognize outstanding achievement in environmental stewardship in Canada. Chosen from submissions of extraordinary companies and industry groups who have managed to balance competitive business strategies and sustainable development, the 2010 GLOBE Awards will be presented in Vancouver the evening of March 23, 2010 at the Welcome Reception for GLOBE 2010.
