Western appoints new Provost, Vice-President Academic

London - The University of Western Ontario is preparing to welcome a new Provost and Vice-President (Academic). After an international search, the university announced that Janice Deakin, who is currently Associate Vice-Principal (Academic) and Dean of Graduate Studies at Queen’s University, will be Western’s new Provost and Vice-President. Deakin is also former director of the Queen’s School of Kinesiology and Health Studies.
