Future Transfer Company Expands Presence in Tillsonburg

Tillsonburg - The Town of Tillsonburg welcomes yesterdays announcement by The Future Transfer Company that they have entered into an agreement with Monsanto Canada to operate a Canadian distribution centre for DEKALB(R) brand corn products in Tillsonburg, Ontario.

“On behalf of the Town of Tillsonburg, I would like to congratulate The Future Transfer Company on their success in winning this contract” says Tillsonburg Mayor Stephen Molnar, “and we welcome the jobs that will be created by this investment.” “Tillsonburg’s strength continues to be the creative initiative of its citizens and this announcement is a direct result of that entrepreneurial spirit.”

The Future Transfer Company will occupy nearly 300,000 square feet in the former TDS complex that also includes Martinrea International’s manufacturing facility, which was announced in 2009.

“The utilization of this space means that most of the former TDS site is now occupied”, adds Development Commissioner Cephas Panschow, “this is due to the efforts of the new owners including both E&E McLaughlin and Future Transfer, and we are proud to see the positive results of local ownership and control.”
