TORONTO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE RECOGNIZED AS ‘OUTSTANDING’ SUPPORTER OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) named Outstanding Ontario Community Partner in 2010 Canadian Youth Business Foundation Chairman’s Awards

TORONTO – The Canadian Youth Business Foundation is pleased to announce that Toronto Business Development Centre has been selected as the Outstanding Ontario Community Partner for the 2010 CYBF Chairman’s Awards.

As a Community Partner, TBDC assists in identifying entrepreneurs, recruiting leaders of the business community to serve on Loan Review Committees and deliver CYBF programs. As the provincial winner, TBDC will receive a professional photo shoot and national profiling through media, advertising and social media campaigns.

“The CYBF Chairman’s Awards program recognizes the excellence of entrepreneurs, as well as the generosity and dedication of those who support them, including Community Partners,” says Vivian Prokop, chief executive officer, CYBF. “It is with great honour that CYBF announces TBDC as the winner of the Outstanding Ontario Community Partner Award. The organization champions youth entrepreneurship in everything that they do and continually provide exceptional support and resources the young entrepreneurs in their community.”
