Toronto Hosts Advertising Rock Stars from Around the World at the 2011 ICOM International World Management Conference
Toronto, - ICOM, the world’s largest independent advertising and marketing communications network and Quarry Integrated Communications, Canadian partner and host, will welcome 50 of advertising’s brightest from over 17 countries to the 2011 ICOM International World Management Conference on Sunday April 17 to Wednesday April 20, 2011.
“This year’s theme Shift Happens focuses on the evolution agencies have encountered with major changes that have occurred over the past decade,” said Gary Burandt, Executive Director of ICOM. “The ICOM International Management Conference is the biggest event of the year for the network. It is where professional and personal relationships are made and renewed.”
Representing Canada’s best, Frank Palmer, Chairman, CEO of DDB Canada, Andy Macaulay, Chairman of Crispin Porter Canada and Andrew Bailey, President and CEO of Proximity are among the many speakers featured throughout the three-day conference.

Showcasing the best of Toronto tourism, international delegates will tour a variety of historical sites including the 19th century landmark mansion of Casa Loma, world famous McMichael Canadian Art Gallery and the CN Tower. The three-day conference also includes a visit to Waterloo Region, Canada’s most dynamic technology hub with tours of Communitech, The Digital Hub and Quarry Integrated Communications.
Last years ICOM event was hosted in Beijing, China and next year will be in Paris, France.
