Celebrating 10 Years in Waterloo Region

Waterloo -Last Wednesday, 2011 Virtual Causeway celebrated its tenth anniversary in style by hosting an exclusive event at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. Over 250 of Virtual Causeway’s clients, partners, employees and friends enjoyed an evening of networking and a private concert performance by Canadian blues-rock band Big Sugar.

“We wanted to celebrate 10 years in Waterloo Region – I honestly believe that we would not be as successful if we had located anywhere else” says Virtual Causeway President, Rick Endrulat.

Since 2001, Virtual Causeway has been a provider of integrated sales and marketing services for companies around the world. In the past ten years, Virtual Causeway has worked with 300 clients, helped to launch hundreds of products, managed thousands of campaigns and has generated over 1 million leads for their clients.

A portion of the proceeds from the evening were donated to Sustainable Waterloo Region, a local environmental not-for-profit. Their primary focus is the Regional Carbon Initiative, which Virtual Causeway has been a part since 2010 as a Sustaining Partner - committing to reduce their GHG emissions by 20% over the next ten years. “As Virtual Causeway has continued to grow over the years, so too has their support for our work” says Mike Morrice, Executive Director of Sustainable Waterloo Region. “Their team has been instrumental to our success to-date and we're honoured to be part of this celebration.”
