The Access Show Returns to the Kitchener Auditorium this year!
Kitchener Mark your calendars on September 21st and 22nd, 2012,
and join the Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region at the Kitchener auditorium
for Access 2012!
Access 2012 is a two-day tradeshow, open to the public, featuring the best in
accessible products and services for people with disabilities and their families.
This year, the event will feature a Friday evening performance from Canadian
singer-songwriter Justin Hines. Hines, who is himself a person with a disability, will be
promoting his new album, Days to Recall, released late last year.
The event will prominently feature a variety of displays, from accessible vehicles to
services that can help Waterloo Region’s citizens with disabilities to live independently in
our community. It will also feature live, on-stage demonstrations, presentations and
performances from groups dedicated to independent living and the creation of a more
The Independent Living Centre of Waterloo Region is very excited to be bringing the
Access 2012 exhibition to our community once again, especially after the success of its
Access 2010 tradeshow! The show takes the concept of the Toronto-based People in
Motion event and gives it a local flavour, making it accessible to our neighbours with
disabilities who may not be able to make the long trip to Toronto.
