ORION adds to their Management Team

Ottawa - ORION announcedthe newest members of their senior management team. ORION welcomes Elizabeth Moyer as Director of Business Development and Strategic Alliances, Lily Chen as Director of Finance and Administration and Catharine Ogilvie as Director of Marketing and Communications.

Elizabeth Moyer is a school board trustee and an IT and business veteran having spent time in a variety of roles with TD Bank, Microsoft, and Ryerson University. Elizabeth also managed a research project at York University focused on homelessness and was the Assistant Director of CCS (IT) at Ryerson University.

She graduated from the University of Waterloo and received her MBA in Information Technology from Ryerson University in 2010. Elizabeth is a key player in Ontario’s IT and education communities and will surely add a great deal of experience and expertise to ORION’s Business Development and Strategic Alliances team.

Lily Chen brings over 15 years of accounting, strategic financial management and project management experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to ORION in her role as Director of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining ORION, Lily served in various accounting management roles. In her role as Manager of Finance at CMA Canada, she assisted in the strategic and tactical execution of finance function initiatives, supporting the educational alliance programs with Ontario’s educational institutions.

Lily is a Certified Management Accountant and Six Sigma Green Belt. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Peking University in China and is expecting to complete her MBA from Edinburgh Business School Heriot-Watts University in 2015.

Catharine Ogilvie has over 15 years’ experience in marketing, sales, and customer service in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to joining ORION Catharine was the Manager of Events & Sponsorship with the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) where she was responsible for producing “Discovery”, the two time award winning Best Trade Show in Canada (2010, 2011).

Catharine received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Brock University and is known for her integrity-based, results-driven approach. She has a solid track record of forging strong relationships and delivering exceptional value to her clients, qualities she now brings to further strengthen ORION’s senior team.
