Chamber Hosts Imperial Oil to Discuss What the World’s Energy Future Will Look Like

Kitchener – Tomorrow, the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Cindy Christopher, Manager of Environmental Policy and Planning at Imperial Oil, for a very interesting Point of View Luncheon where she will discuss what the world's energy future look like in 30 years.

Ms. Christopher will outline the key factors in shaping global needs and the role Canada’s oil sands will play in meeting the demand from around the world. As headlines like the Keystone XL pipeline discussion in the United States and the growing focus on the future of our global energy sources, this talk will be a highly engaging event to see a leading global energy provider’s plan to help meet our needs.

There are few aspects of our world in more contention then fulfilling our energy needs. All businesses are affected by the need to maintain a consistent energy source whether that be gas for your vehicles, the ability to turn your lights on, to simply being able to pay your energy bills month in and month out. With this in mind understanding what might change over the next 30 years is of the utmost importance.
