Search for Tech Talent Continues at Communitech’s TechVibe Recruitment Event in Waterloo

Waterloo Region – Opportunity calls as Waterloo Region tech companies continue the search for talent to fill more than 1,000 current job openings. On June 5th, the Waterloo Techvibe Recruitment Event hosted by Communitech at the Waterloo Inn will connect growing companies with job prospects.

“Many of the 800 tech companies within Waterloo Region are telling us that their biggest challenge is attracting the specialized talent needed to grow their businesses,” said Karen Gallant, Senior Director of Talent Networks at Communitech. “The goal of this recruitment event is to bring awareness to these openings and the future career paths they represent for suitable candidates.”

Gallant adds that Waterloo is not only an attractive place to work, but a great place to live. The Region is a hive of activity with no shortage of culture to experience, entertainment to take in, parks and recreation to explore, and community events to add to the calendar.
