Jim Cooper receives award for friendhsip

Waterloo - Maplesoft has been awarded the “Friend of the Faculty” award by Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Maplesoft CEO, Jim Cooper received the award at the 2012 Waterloo Engineering Awards Dinner last week. Announcing the award, Pearl Sullivan (Photo with Jim), Dean, Faculty of Engineering said this: “I am delighted that Maplesoft was selected as this year’s winner of Waterloo Engineering’s Friend of the Faculty Award. Over the years the company has supported the Faculty through a wide variety of ways including significant research collaborations that have led to engineering breakthroughs, ongoing financial and voluntary contributions to our outreach programs, hiring our co-op students and graduates, and generously endowing its Maple software tools to the entire university. We are honoured to have Maplesoft as our industry partner and friend.”
