||When war between Israel and Iran seemed imminent, Israeli graphic designer Ronny Edry shared a poster on Facebook of himself and his daughter with a bold message: "Iranians ... we [heart] you." Other Israelis quickly created their own posters with the same message -- and Iranians responded in kind.
Foundation receives donation from canoe outfitter
Sara Wilbur (left), executive director of the Grand River Conservation Foundation, received $2,771 from Shelly Jo Courtney (right) of Canoeing the Grand in Kitchener. A dollar from each boat that the outfitter sent down the Grand 2012 was donated to the GRCF. This is the second year that the Shelly Jo and Ned Courtney have operated Canoeing the Grand and their second year of making this donation.
