KITCHENER– Hot Docs is North America’s largest documentary festival, conference and market. Each year, the Festival presents a selection of more than 205 cutting-edge documentaries from Canada and around the globe in categories including politics, popular culture, poverty, religion and spirituality, science and technology, travel and women’s issues. Through the use of Christie cinema projectors the the festival will present digital content – whether it is traditional cinema content or non-cinema (“alternative content”) such as broadcast television, satellite, business presentations and HDTV sources – at its best, with crisp, true colors and an unparalleled richness of presentation.

“Hot Docs’ partnership with Christie is a very important one for the Festival,” says Jennifer Hobbs, Hot Docs director of sponsorship marketing. “With Christie’s generous support, Hot Docs is able to ensure that filmmakers will project their work to our enthusiastic audiences on the highest quality projectors available. This partnership enhances the Festival experience for both guest filmmakers and audiences.”
