KITCHENER– Hot Docs is North America’s largest documentary festival, conference and market. Each year, the Festival presents a selection of more than 205 cutting-edge documentaries from Canada and around the globe in categories including politics, popular culture, poverty, religion and spirituality, science and technology, travel and women’s issues. In addition to the screenings, events include a forum for documentary producers and other leaders and outreach to schools.

Christie announced its participation as a Gold sponsor in this year’s Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in Toronto starting today and running to May 5. Through the use of Christie cinema projectors the the festival will present digital content – whether it is traditional cinema content or non-cinema (“alternative content”) such as broadcast television, satellite, business presentations and HDTV sources – at its best, with crisp, true colors and an unparalleled richness of presentation.
