TESLA Motors Opens New Charging Station in Waterloo

Waterloo - Tesla Motors has teamed up with Wildcraft Waterloo, part of the Charcoal Group to provide an increasingly desirable amenity; Tesla Destination Charging. Tesla High Power Wall Connectors add 58 miles of range per hour, easily charging Model S’s 270 mile range in a few hours or overnight.

Wildcraft Waterloo joins a rapidly growing network of restaurants and resorts in Tesla’s Destination Charging Program. Tesla has more than 1000 Destination Charging sites worldwide, providing more convenience for Tesla owners to charge. The charging infrastructure in Waterloo and surrounding cities is expanding, allowing Model S owners to travel seamlessly wherever they want to go. The new Waterloo charging station allows owners driving from Toronto or Detroit by way of Tesla’s Supercharger network to charge their cars quickly once they arrive in the tri-cities.

With Waterloo becoming a great technology focus in Canada, Tesla is excited to bring more vehicles to the region. Along with a ribbon cutting ceremony, we will be hosting test drives with our product specialists on site to answer any questions about the latest Model S options. Local Waterloo Model S owners will also be in attendance to share their personal experiences of owning and traveling with a Model S.

While we are providing test drives on site at Wildcraft Waterloo, we would like to invite you to visit our local store location as well in Kitchener-Waterloo. Our friendly staff will walk you through “Tesla Experience” stations that feature Tesla’s Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive and Autopilot technology, Tesla’s free over-the-air software updates, showcase the ease of charging a Model S at home and on the road, and provide you with Tesla’s unique approach to car and customer service.
