Trudeau's three-point plan for Canadians

MISSISSAUGA – Yesterday, Liberal Party of Canada Leader Justin Trudeau launched his three-point plan to deliver change for Canadians by creating jobs, growing the middle class, and helping those working hard to join it.

The Liberal three-point plan:

• Create jobs with the most significant infrastructure investment in Canadian history: nearly $60 billion in new funding over the next ten years. Our jobs plan is about doing for our kids and grandkids exactly what our parents and grandparents did for us: build a better country for hard-working Canadians.

• Grow the middle class by putting more money in peoples’ pockets. We will do this by raising taxes on the wealthiest one percent, and cutting taxes for middle class Canadians.

• Help those working hard to join the middle class, by investing in essential social infrastructure – including affordable housing and child care – as well as giving families more money to help with the high costs of raising their kids. Nine out of ten families will get more from our Canada Child Benefit, and it will lift 315,000 children out of poverty.
