Kim West Promoted to Chief Client Officer at NATIONAL PR

Toronto - Kim West, NATIONAL Public Relations' Director of Integration, has been promoted to Chief Client Officer for NATIONAL in Toronto effective immediately. Her promotion comes as a direct result of the firm's recent growth and transformation.

"Kim's leadership and contributions have made a huge difference to our culture and performance," said Rick Murray, Managing Partner and Chief Digital Strategist at NATIONAL. "Through a combination of organic client growth, new business wins and the addition of NATIONAL Equicom, the monthly volume of business in Toronto is now more than double what it was in January."

In her new role, Kim will have direct responsibility for day-to day-operations of the office's marketing, technology, corporate, public affairs and government relations, and healthcare practices. Kim and her team of senior leaders are responsible for ensuring that NATIONAL meets collective targets, continues to exceed clients' expectations, and are both aligned with and working collaboratively towards the Firm's overall goals.

Aside from her excellent work for NATIONAL, Kim is Chair of the Board of Directors of Medavie Health Foundation and a Director of Medavie Inc.. She is Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of St. Francis Xavier University, a member of the International Women's Forum of Canada and is a member of the Toronto Chapter. She is also a frequent public speaker on women in leadership and strategies to earn trust and build reputation.

Kim is also an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society and has been inducted into the CPRS-Canadian College of Fellows. In 2013, she received her Institute of Corporate Directors certification, having completed the ICD Director Education Program and earning her ICD.D designation; she is also a member of the Toronto Chapter of Institute of Corporate Directors.
