The Confederation Club Proudly Welcomes Guest Speakers David W. Aston & Paul Britton, Partners, MHBC Planning

On Behalf of the Waterloo Region Home Builders’ Association David & Paul will be speaking on “Development in Waterloo Region”

Waterloo Region - The presentation will provide an overview of planning in Waterloo Region and how planning considerations shape the community and the future growth forecasted for the community. Observations on local initiatives and general trends that are related to growth and development will be presented by two highly respected planning industry executives based in Kitchener.

Paul Britton is Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer of MHBC Planning. His work has been recognized with a Provincial Outstanding Planning Award from the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, two OPPI District-Level Awards of Professional Merit and a number of design awards. He is a former President of the Waterloo Region Home Builders’ Association, and an active participant in a variety of planning related issues.

David Aston is a Partner with MHBC Planning and a Registered Professional Planner. He has served on the Policy Development Committee, Economic Development Working Group, Urban Design Awards Committee and was recently recognized with an award from the Ontario Professional Planning Institute. He is a Director with the Waterloo Region Home Builders’ Association and a past member of the City of Cambridge Economic Development Committee.
