Elliott Avedon Museum and Archives of Games , Gallery Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm Chess Collection Exhibition Games from the Elliott Avedon Museumâ s permanent collection of chess games will be on view as the first of biannual exhibitions, from January 1 to April 22 at the Burt Matthews Hall Museum Gallery. The exhibition will feature numerous games that have been collected over the past 35 years. Unique in Canada, the collection represents a link with the heritage of our Canadian community and includes a wide range of games that demonstrate the diversity and ingenuity of the game from around the world.
