BlueBand Media - Winner of 2011 IAB Best Food Industry Online Campaign

TORONTO - Increased competition in the consumer goods marketing category should be welcomed, according to the recent winner of Best Food Industry Online Campaign for their Cheestrings "Cheesy's Mission 2 WIN" promotion.

"This award is especially important to us," says Sathish Bala CEO Blueband Media, "it celebrates our work in a category that our company excels at. Consumer product promotions is something our team has become experts in, the recognition is exciting".

The 16 week Promotion engaged consumers in helping to find Cheesy, the missing Cheestrings Hero. By purchasing product, completing "missions", & interacting with the brands social media channels, consumers received PIN's for entries into weekly and grand prizing.

The site also featured an Augmented Reality component exclusive for product purchasers. The multiple touch points that kept consumers engaged over the 16 week campaign, helped make it such a success for the client and the brand.
