Christie is recruiting to meet increased production demand

Recruitment drive will focus on hiring technologists, distribution technicians and mechanical engineers to support laser projection design and production

Kitchener – Christie announced it is hiring highly skilled technologists, engineers and technicians in order to meet a growing worldwide demand for its products and solutions. All positions require a college diploma and are located at Christie’s Canadian headquarters for engineering and advanced manufacturing in Kitchener, Ontario.

Technologists will be responsible for complex assembly and testing of projection systems in the Operations Manufacturing department while the distribution roles include a range of logistical responsibilities within the Operations team. The company is also hiring mechanical engineers to support laser design and production.

“Joining the team at Christie lays the foundation for solid career growth,” says Kelly Carnahan, senior manager, talent management, Christie. “We value our partnerships with local colleges like Conestoga, and many graduates from these programs are now employees. We’re excited to be hiring for advanced manufacturing positions and drawing from the skilled talent pool in the region that local colleges have helped create.”

At the forefront of projection technology development, Christie manufactures laser projectors including 3P and 6P RGB laser systems, for the brightest and best 3D visual experiences, and Christie GS series and Christie Captiva series laser phosphor projectors, which offer long life, minimal maintenance and low cost of operation.
