Emerging Sustainability Leaders Converge in Vancouver to Catalyze Change

Pietra Basilij, Sustainability Community Development Manager at the Vancouver Economic Commission, facilitates roundtable discussions with emerging sustainability leaders

Vancouver - GLOBE Series and the Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) invite media to join VEC leaders, local and international environmental leaders, and Canada's next generation of entrepreneurs and policy thinkers for a panel discussion on "creating and taking new opportunities." The Commission is bringing Shivani Chotalia, the winner of its emerging leaders contest, to GLOBE 2016 as part of a national partnership to catalyze emerging Canadian environmental leaders and sustainability professionals.

Notable speakers include Bob Elton, Chief Risk Officer at Vancity; Cassie Doyle, CEO of the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute, Pietra Basilij, the Vancouver Economic Commission's Sustainable Community Development Manager; and Sandra Odendahl, Senior Director of Social Innovation and Integration at RBC.
