The action-filled week starts with the opening of Elementary! on Saturday, March 12, 2:00pm at Queen’s Square. The exhibition runs March 12 – April 2, 2016. “The popular exhibition Elementary! brings together a diverse range of artworks,” explains Aidan Ware, gallery director. “What a treat it is to showcase the talented young artists in our community!” Saturday’s festivities also unveils the BRICKTEK® Art Mural Wall where kids can create their very own masterpiece using colourful building blocks. Drop in throughout March Break to make your mark on this art mural.

Throughout the week, each location has a number of FREE high-energy, interactive programs. “From Minecraft Mayhem to Blue Jays Spring Training Camp, Dude and Diva Decor to a PJ Movie Night, there’s something to spark the interest and tap into the energy of everyone!” notes Andrea Siemens, manager, Queen's Square children's services.
